Congratulations President Biden!

Yesterday, we officially got a new President. Joe Biden is now our 46th President of the United States. A man who had dedicated almost 50 years of his life to public service and was elected by 81 million plus voters (most in history of our country) and won the Electoral College with the same number as his predecessor. He has a tough task ahead of him.

He still has to deal with the pandemic that has killed over 400,000 people and it will continue to grow. The vaccine rollout, well, it hasn't been what was promised by the previous administration. Our country is still divided. 74 million people felt that he was not the person to lead our country. Racism is still a major issue. Partisan divide. Trillions of dollars in debt. Unemployment. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

But he has a change to make some real change for many who need help, and that includes those who still believe the lie that this was a rigged election. Joe has said he will be a President for all of America, and not just those who voted for him. And he has two years.

This election has given the Democrats control of all three branches of government for the first time in a while. The House, The Senate, and The President. If he has an agenda that he thinks will make this country better and put us in a better place, now is that chance. There will be people who will try and stop him. The last 4 years, in my opinion, have been a disaster unless you make a lot of money. A war on the media, the countless lies, and the raid on the Capital that happened because the now twice impeached President Trump told them the biggest lie ever...this was a fraudulent election. He never conceded, and his rhetoric may have cost his party more than the election. That is still to be determined.

Mr. President, I voted for you. I hope that you are able to bring this country together as best you can, and try and heal the divide this country is in. I want those who still won't recognize you, to be help accountable, or I fear it will happen again. You have two years. Lets see what you can do. After 4 years of arguably the worst President in our history, you have a awful lot of work to do to fix things that were left at your feet. You have waited your whole life for this. Now it's your time. Go!
