2020 has been a year unlike any of us have ever seen. The world was shut down, people were losing their jobs, and we had one of the most significant Presidential elections of our time. There was a global pandemic. We could not hug anyone anymore. It was a tough time for many. Many lives were lost. And there is still a lot of uncertainty.

So 2021 has to be better right? We learned a lot about one another. We learned how resourceful we could be. Many of us found out that working from home in your pajamas isn't so bad. We got closer to our families, or how to connect virtually. And there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Vaccines are coming. You will be able to go see live music again. Hopefully sooner than later. We can go to the movies. We learned that small business really are the lifeblood of our society. And we even were able to find out who our true friends are. The ones you can really count on.

I am ready to embrace whatever 2021 has in store for us. I am fortunate that I am doing a job that I love. I have close friends that I can count on, no questions asked. If we can all be patient and hang in there a little longer, I think we will come out of this stronger as people and as a country. And I for one...will look forward to hugging people again. Bring on 2021. I am ready for a New Year. Hope you are too!
